Our Wedding

Our story is a modern love story, we met each other on a dating website in February of 2020. We had a few dates in Morgantown at West Virginia University before COVID times sent us home to live back with our parents. Aaron was beginning an internship for Industrial Engineering, and I was at home completing Occupational Therapy school virtually. Despite the distance and little interaction through texting and calls, we planned to meet in Tysons, Virginia, where Aaron was placed for his internship. After that, the rest is history!We lived in Oakton, Virginia for about a year together, where we had many adventures in DC and the surrounding areas, getting a small taste of the city life. Then, country roads called us back home to Falling Waters, West Virginia where Aaron officially became a West Virginia resident for the first time!We have had so much fun so far, with hosting friends and family, taking walks, fishing, trying new ice cream shops, and most importantly- playing wordle in bed together every night before we go to sleep!Aaron and I have walked through fire more than once, hand in hand—each trial forging us, not breaking us. We've faced storms that could have torn us apart, but instead, they stitched us closer. Through every hardship, we've come out not only standing, but stronger—more in love, more unshakable, and more certain that we’re each other’s home.

Alex is fun, witty, and loves to adventure. Alex has a compassionate soul and is loyal to everyone that she loves. Alex and I have many amazing memories we share, including a week long sleepover the summer after we graduated college. We hiked, lounged, and most importantly- we drove with the windows down singing "The Chain" by Fleetwood Mac at the top of our lungs. She has many amazing qualities and I am so blessed to call her a friend. I am so excited for her to stand with me on my special day!

Emily is a bubbly spark of joy in each room she enters, and she never meets a stranger. I love many qualities about Emily, but the one I love the most is her empathetic heart and passion. If you ever need someone to lean on, she is a strong support. She is a great listener. Emily is creative, artistic, and loves little fun trinkets. Emily and I used to frequent WVU's "Up All Night" craft nights when we were in college. Since then, we have graduated to the occasional Paint and Sip nights. I am so honored to have you as a bridesmaid!

JoLee is carefree, loyal, kind and a complete joy to be around. I have always loved and appreciated that JoLee authentically herself to everyone she meets, and that is what is most lovable about her. JoLee and I have many great memories throughout college and our adult lives, but one of my favorites is when she and I sat outside in my back yard and talked about life, work, family and everything in between. JoLee is a great listener and confidant. I am so excited to have "Joey-chell" beside me on my special day!

JoLee Walton

Jordyn is fun-loving, spontaneous, and always up for doing something new! I have lived through many things in my college and adult life with Jordyn by my side. One of my favorite memories is a spontaneous night that Jordyn and I spent at Mutt's in Morgantown, and we became friends with the live musician and taught him one of the best songs- Hotel California by the Eagles. When you hear "opposites attract", this is how Jordyn and I are in some ways, but it is what makes us such a good combination. I can't wait to listen to your infamous playlists while getting ready for my wedding day, just like we have done time and time again when we were back in college living together.

Jake has been the best brother anyone could ask for. He has always supported me in everything I’ve done and included me no matter what. He is a rock in my life and is someone I continue to look up to and can always count on.

Joe and I went to elementary school together and became close friends in the third grade. Joe and I have been brothers ever since and would spend nights at each others houses even weeks at a time growing up. Joes parents and siblings have always been a second family to me and we have always maintained a close connection.

Joseph Hurd

Connor and I met in the 6th grade at Catonsville Middle School and have been close friends ever since. We have shared many moments growing up together. Connor lived just a couple streets down from me and we would be at each others’ houses all the time since.

Riley and I dormed together our freshman year of college at WVU. We instantly hit it off and became close friends. We played club lacrosse together and lived together each year of college sharing many stories and memories through the journey.
